With ‘Flower on Fire’, I am taking a stand against this image.
The daisy – a symbol of playfulness, but also of women themselves, because nothing could represent them better than the stubborn, indestructible and yet delicate daisy – is on fire.
The hand with the lighter is deliberately there: an act of rebellion, a no to role clichés, a yes to self-determination.
And despite the advanced age, still playing with fire.
This jacket is not decoration. It is a statement.
It carries the question: Who defines your worth? – and at the same time gives the answer: No one but you, because you have it in your hands.
